September Already?!?!

Streamlined Offer, Updates and Opportunities

In the last year, I've been rebuilding things behind the scenes: clearer language about who I actually help and a new way to work together that doesn't require a big commitment to start.

Keep scrolling to catch up on all of it.

🌟 Re-Introduction Time! 🌟

At the end of 2024, I left corporate.  I had built my own Career Transition Fund before I made the leap.

So, I gave myself something most new entrepreneurs don't get: time.

Time to breathe, to be with family, to actually process the transition instead of white-knuckling straight into "figuring it out."

It wasn't instant clarity.

There were ups, downs and reassessing how: I wanted to run my business, who I wanted to work with and what I actually wanted to build.

Most new entrepreneurs could tell you: you don't know what you don't know until you're in it.

Because I had that financial buffer, I got to figure it out at my own pace, instead of being forced or pressured into decisions out of fear or urgency.

That's not luck.

A Career Transition Fund is built to for this.

It's what I now help clients build before they make their own leap.

With 20+ years across HR, non-profits, retail, banking, office management and more

I've seen finances in all ranges and stages.

From just starting out to "I make good money and still feel behind."

As a Money Strategist for Income Changes, I help professionals like you, whether you're eyeing a new role, pivoting into entrepreneurship, or already running your own business to get honest about where your money stands and align it with where you're actually headed.

No judgment.

No guilt trips.

I'm also lucky to collaborate with some amazing professionals:

→ Career & Executive Coaches: understand financial habits & career growth are connected.

→ Realtors & Lenders: Clients are financially ready for homeownership and afterwards.  → Coaches & Consultants: Want clients building income stability instead of leaning on personal funds to stay afloat.

So whether you're ready to make a career move, prepping for a big financial milestone, or just want a gut check on where you stand...

I'm your go-to strategist

Right Now Might Be Your Breather Time

Think about how the year as a whole.

January through April: you're either prepping, filing, dealing with taxes.

Memorial Day: summer kicks off for individuals/couples and business owners. If you have kiddos, summer isn't a break, it's a different kind of chaos because of camps, vacations, a schedule that stops matching your work calendar.

August/September: School starts back up, things may actually quiet down, right before sports and holidays take over and don't let go until the new year.

That quiet window is right now.

This is genuinely a good time of the year to look at your finances.

Not because of some arbitrary date on a calendar.

Because it's it tends to be a time to pause before everything speeds back up.

September's also Update Your Resume Month, so if a career move is on your mind too, this window does double duty: reassess your money, your next role, or both.

Four months before the year resets is enough time to make adjustments, instead of staring down January wondering why nothing changed.

Here's what I've seen on Financial Diagnostic calls:

→ Business owners not separating personal and business money, until we map it out together and they finally see what's actually theirs.

→ Individuals/Couples where each partner has a rough sense of "their side" of things, but diagnostic day is when they actually looked at it side by side. Recurring costs such as pet care, medical, subscriptions etc.. that routinely turn out to be double or triple what someone estimated, once we actually analyze them instead of guessing.

It's not usual to have a flash of shame, discomfort, or uncertainty walking in, and relief walking out, once the guessing finally stops.

That's the thing about a diagnostic.

It's rarely about earning more.

It's about finally seeing clearly.

With four months left in the year, this is the moment for:

Individually/Couples — to get ahead. Walk into Q4 (bonus season, open enrollment, year-end tax moves) with a financial plan instead of a vague sense you should "probably look into that." Especially before life and holidays hit. Money tension tends to peak in November and December and a shared, honest picture now heads that off before it turns into a disagreement about the gift amounts.

Business owner — stop using personal funds to cover business gaps. Separate between personal and business finances before year-end tax planning locks in, and build the kind of runway that means a slow month doesn't mean dipping into your own savings.

There's still enough of 2026 left to build a foundation and not just survive the holidays and start January in the same cycle you started this year in.

What a recent business owner said after their Financial Diagnostic session:

"I went into this session pretty nervous. Money has always been a hard, kind of shame-filled topic for me. I grew up around some unhealthy influences with it, and I've never really had someone sit with me and help me look at everything clearly.

Jocelyn gently pushed me to look at the numbers I'd been avoiding, and made me feel safe enough to actually do it. I set some real goals, found places where I could cut back, and habits to shift.

Even though it was uncomfortable, walking away from that session felt super empowering. For the first time, I feel like I know what I actually need to do. I have a clear picture now instead of just anxiety and avoidance. If you're scared to look at your numbers, that fear is exactly why this session is worth doing."
